Terms of Service — Shipping Responsibility & Liability

1. Shipping Terms

{BRAND_NAME} ({URL}) is responsible for the order until it is delivered to the carrier. After that, risk of loss transfers to you.

2. Transfer of Risk

  • Domestic: Risk passes when the carrier takes possession
  • International: Risk passes when the package is handed to the first carrier
  • Pickup: Risk passes when you take physical possession

3. Title Passage

Title to products passes to you upon:

  • Full payment received
  • Products handed to carrier
  • Exception: We retain title until full payment is received

4. Carrier Selection

  • We select the carrier based on your shipping choice
  • We are not liable for carrier delays, losses, or damages
  • Claims against the carrier are your responsibility (we assist where possible)
  • Route Protection (optional at checkout) transfers risk back to us

5. Customs & Import

For international shipments:

  • You are the importer of record
  • You are responsible for customs clearance
  • You are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees
  • We provide customs documentation as described in our Shipping Policy

6. Inspect Upon Delivery

You are responsible for:

  • Inspecting packages upon delivery
  • Noting damage on the delivery receipt
  • Reporting issues within the timeframe stated in our Return Policy
  • Providing photographic evidence when requested

7. Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned as undeliverable:

  • We will notify you and arrange re-delivery
  • Re-shipping fees may apply
  • If we cannot reach you within 30 days, order will be cancelled (refund minus shipping)
